Here’s an odd release that came out this week from Century Media- a split 7″ from outlaw country musician Bob Wayne and Canadian metal band 3 Inches Of Blood. Each artist turns in one track, Wayne with “Everything’s Legal In Alabama” and 3 Inches Of Blood with a live version of “Call Of The Hammer”. From 3 Inches Of Blood vocalist Cam Pipes:
“hen asked if we wanted to do a split 7″ with Bob Wayne it was a pretty easy decision. We’ve never done a split 7″ before and Bob’s already a friend of ours, a good ol’ Pacific Northwestern boy. We’ve also never released a live track before. We had recorded some shows in Vancouver last year, so we picked Call of the Hammer since Ben Falgoust from Goatwhore does guest vocals on it. All around this is a special release for us.”
We love odd combos like this, more artists should team up outside their genre. You can pick the single up for $5 here. Check out Bob Wayne playing “Everything’s Legal In Alabama” live in the video below!
