Two New(ish) Vinyl Only Mudhoney Related Releases Out Now!

Kim Salmon and the guys from Mudhoney Until LP First up, here’s a cool LP that was released last month- Apparently back in 1995, Kim Salmon of the Australian post-punk outfit The Scientists teamed up with Mudhoney. They recorded a record which sat shelved for 15 years, until Mudhoney and The Scientists crossed paths again at the 2010 ATP festival. One thing led to another, and in September of this year Spanish label Bang Records released the album, titled “Until…”, as a deluxe gatefold LP. The album is available domestically from Forced Exposure for $21. Bloodloss The other Mudhoney related release to hit the streets recently comes from Bloodloss, an old side project featuring Mark Arm and Guy Maddison of Mudhoney teaming up with members of Lubricated Goat and Monkeywrench. The label describes Bloodloss as “scuzzed out, spastic jazz-influenced grunge punk-blues with one foot in the garage and both legs in the swamp. ” The album was recorded back in 1996, but is just now seeing the light of day. A gatefold vinyl version is available overseas from Bang Records, and folks in North America can pick up a slightly different version from Dirty Knobby Records. Check out the Bloodloss track “Another One Of You” below! bloodloss – another one of you by dirty knobby industries
